Job Prep + Digital Internships
Getting your very first job is one of the biggest milestones of your life.
Companies of all sizes - start-ups, mid-sized companies, large home-grown companies and MNCs, are constantly searching for great talent, especially at the entry-level. There is also great competition for these entry-level jobs.
Job Prep helps you find a job in this hyper-competitive job market.
Job Prep breaks down your goal of finding a job into requisite skills/competencies. Then it breaks those skills/competencies down to bite-sized daily tasks that you can tackle one day at a time.
As you start gaining the skills, you need to check the progress that you are making and analyse your gaps. Progress Tests and Full Length Tests help you with that. These are periodic evaluations that help you assess where you stand as well as make course correction.
Internships give you a flavour of the workplace: what business problems do firms solve for, how do they solve them, how to teams function etc. When you sign-up for Job Prep, you get the opportunity to apply to internships in both IT and non-IT fields. Note that internships hosted on the Conduira platform are called Digital Internships.
In a real workplace, your skill as well as communication matter. Job Prep's communications workshops teach you the finer points of workplace communication.
As part of the Job Prep program, you get Live (online) Classes. Here, you can interact with the faculty and get your doubts cleared. If, however, you miss a live class or two, you have access to the recorded version of the live class.
In case you want to pursue you a career in information technology (IT), you have the option of making use of the Programming Hub
No, we don't guarantee you a job. We provide you all the assistance you need for getting a job. Our Job Prep has topics such as programming, reasoning ability, verbal ability which companies typically check during the aptitude round of placements. You also get access to company specific exam plans, mock tests, full length tests as well as live sessions to prepare for those and many others. There are also plenty of internship opportunities and recruitment drives available on Conduira. Check the section Digital Internships to know more.
Job Prep has been useful for our students with campus placements. As part of Job Prep, you will get interactive live sessions (these are also available as recorded sessions in case you can’t make it to a live session), customized to-do lists every day, pre-class assignments that help you come prepared for a class/session as well as make the most of it, post-class assignments which help you to clarify your understanding of the subject matter as well as check your preparedness or mastery. You can then get your doubts cleared in the live sessions.
Every month there will be a company-based Mock test, Progress Tests, and the Algorithms used for exams. This helps you in such a way that, even after a few attempts you don't get the repeated question.
In the Programming Hub, you can access 300+ programming tasks. You can practice writing code, compiling it online and then validating against test cases. You can also look at the solution code and approach. These programming tasks can be coded in 40+ programming languages including C, C++, JAVA, Python and others.
A Coding Challenge will, over a short and predefined orientation, give you the opportunity to learn how to code and then a coding task to solve for so that you can check your understanding and mastery of the code concept learnt. Since a Coding Challenge is time-bound, it helps you focus on the tasks at hand and since a Coding Challenge requires you to spend a short amount of time everyday, it breaks a giant task into smaller manageable chunks.
You will get pre-class assignments as well as post-class assignments. The pre-class assignments help you come prepared to the online class and the most of the lessons taught and concepts covered. The post-class assignments allow you revise the subject matter and to book your understanding of the concepts learnt in the online class(es).
In the past, some of the non-IT entry-level (the ones that fresh graduates or recent graduates qualify for) have been in Sales, Marketing, Digital Marketing and Business Development. Keep an eye on the Digital Internships page for updates on non-IT jobs and internships. Note that internships hosted on the Conduira platform are called Digital Internships.
